• Happy Saturday

    by  • 7 Mar ’09 • Uncategorized • 24 Comments

I am so grateful to be back home with my family, even if I am suffering a horrendous case of jetlag. One goal I have set this year is to remind myself, on a regular basis, to be consciously appreciative and to say ‘thank you’ with a degree of regularity.

I am mindful of all the wonderful readers, who quietly visit each day and those who leave comments and send emails. You truly make writing All the Best worthwhile. I am also indebted to the many talented and inspiring bloggers who brighten my world each day with their knowledge and unique perspectives. Thank you!

Attitude Gratitude is crucial and I am grateful for you too.
Drink lots of water and moisturize.
Nothing like jet lag to make one feel a little more humble.

Patricia you are so right! Jet lag is nature’s way of making you look like your passport photo.

I have a moisturizing mask on my face right now!

Just remember that “down time” is the spa treatment for the heart and soul! Everyone deserves some, and you have more than earned yours! Relax. regroup, and enjoy! And I thank you on a daily basis for opening up worlds that I would never see – you have saved us all from some jet lag!

Ronda, I adore your blog although I hardly ever comment just for lack of time. But you do have skill for finding “All The Best” and I love it all. Thank you.

I do love your blog…it consistently adds a bit of style to my day. And I am officially obsessed with that chair! I love to sit cross legged on my couch each morning reading the papers and sipping my tea. That seat looks wide enough to amply accommodate crossed legs!

My husband is a commerical pilot, and is away 20 days a month…within one day the guys is back on schedule; after my last trip to Amsterdam, I slept for a straight week. He just laughs at me. It actually makes me easier on him when he gets home :)

The worst is when you have anything important to do over those first few days.

Isn’t it nice to get back home? There really is no place like it. Enjoy.

As a Finn, thank you is fairly a common phrase, as Finns thank constantly for everything. But what we should do more often is, most definitely, to mean what we say when we thank one another.

Being grateful every day is a task and probably something no one can sincerely do– but who says you shouldn’t be aiming high!

And that is one wonderful chair.
      Do want.

      Cheers,
      Nina
