Congratulations to my sweet and super talented friend Tobi Fairley. Tobi was named as one of the Top 20 Young Designers in America by Traditional Home Magazine. You can read more about Tobi and the other talented designers in the April 2009 issue on newsstands now.
It is funny that she is considered “traditional”. A lot of her work feels more contemporary to me, but I had fun looking through her portfolio. Nice work.

I think she combines the two (traditional and contemporary) pretty well. Jaime Rummerfield and Ron Woodson of Woodson and Rummerfield’s were also named to the list. Again, not completely traditional…
