Q&A
An indulgence I will never forego is dark chocolate and travel. Travel is a necessary indulgence, both for creativity and inspiration…. I find it renewing and invigorating, never exhausting.
The great gift that I have ever received? My daughter would have to be number one on that list and then it drops dramatically from there. Although I do quite love the purple leather tassel Hermes key ring I was given for my birthday by an architect/colleague and dear friend.
That last thing that I purchased and loved was my antique textiles from Istanbul that I recently purchased while on the most fabulous trip. They are giving me endless inspiration for my projects, my textile line, for sharing with colleagues and for sheer pleasure.
Right now I have my eye on locating a great 18th century leather embossed screen for a project and for the scale!
My last meal would be about 50 years from now!!
If I had to move tomorrow I would head for Europe for a few months to shop and eat and relax and absorb la dolce vita and then to Santa Barbara to set up home.

I love the ideas for the writing instruments as well as the others. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks Nancy! I ran this series last summer and it was popular. Thinking I will bring it back.
With most people struggling so to make ends meet I think this is an inconsiderate topic. Anyone who would spend $250 on a pencil just doesn’t get it. Teddee Grace
Point taken…on the one hand I see your side. But to say it is an inconsiderate topic is a bit unfair. Pencils are a tool of the trade for designers (as are high-end computers for graphic designers). Note she also likes Liquid Flair by Papermate for $1.60 and Sharpie permanent markers. When I started this series I included a variety of areas including ‘Go to Drugstore Product’ to give each profile a fun balance.
