Five Years and Blogger Mea Culpa

Not only does time fly when you are having fun, but it slips away when you are up against a book deadline. I was shocked when I realized just how long it has been since my last blog post (my sincere apologies). Not only have I been remiss in the blogging arena, but also I missed my five year blog anniversary last week. FIVE years!
I honestly cannot believe it was five years ago this wonderfully crazy journey began. So many amazing people have come into my life, I have traveled to places that I once only dreamed of seeing and the life long desire to write a book has been (partly) realized.
But still, there is NOT a day that goes by that I don’t pinch myself. No question I have been fortunate…but at the end of the day, you (the reader) have made this blog a success. Also too, I must acknowledge the tireless efforts of my husband (the official All the Best Proofreader). I honestly believe that the readers of this blog are among the BEST. Your comments, emails and quick words of kindness never fail to inspire me and keep me going. Only yesterday I learned that All the Best Blog had been nominated for Design Bloggers Hall of Fame Awards! It is without a doubt a great honor (I am in GOOD company)…thank you! You can see all of the nominees here.
I am sure that over the next few months, as I finish the book, I will find it tricky to blog as often as I have in the past, just don’t give up on me. Your support and friendship is most appreciated.
