Philip Gorrivan + Canadian House and Home

I was thrilled to receive an email from Philip Gorrivan last night telling me of his Toronto project that is featured in the January 2010 Canadian House and Home (it got the cover as well). I have been hearing so many wonderful things about Canadian House and Home as of late. And, I must confess, that I have been obsessed with Suzanne Dimma’s chic style since my profile on both her and her husband, Arriz Hassam, the past summer.

I especially love the David Hicks wallpaper in yellow and the dining room in Benjamin Moore Electric Orange. It took 12 coats of paint and 2 coats of glaze to achieve the rich color and sheen. Stunning! Pick up a copy if you can (maybe someone can send me copy too).

How wonderful to keep hearing about our Canadian House & Home. Would be delighted to send you a copy when it hits the newstands though that sharp new editor will likely beat me to it. If not, let me know.

Seriously Beautiful. I love color but tend to be an all white girl. I know boring for some. I'm so envious of women and men who can use bold colors and make them look sophisticated and elegant. All these rooms are like a slice of heaven. Gorgeous. With all our great publications closing here – I'm going to have to look for that magazine. Thanks for sharing.

I'm so excited – just went to their website loved the magazine! I ordered a subscription. While I love reading things online – I love print copies. Thanks for introducing me to another resource. Can't wait for my first copy of Canadian House & Home.

I have been inspired by the amazing projects featured by Canadian House and Home for years because it is the go to magazine for Canadian design enthusiasts and designers like me. This upcoming addition looks absolutely superb! Thanks for giving me an early sneak peak! I am so glad that you got a chance to see what is happening in the Canadian design world. Great post!
